I am sharing images of Tanah Lot Temple. As there are quite a lot of them, this will be the first part, and I will share the rest at a later date.
I arrived at Tanah Lot Temple at around 5:30 PM on July 19, 2024. I had spent more time than expected admiring the grandeur of the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, and on the way to Tanah Lot, my driver kept muttering with some concern, “I wonder if we’ll make it in time for the sunset.”
As a side note, he was not complaining. The day before, he had happened to pass near the temple and saw a magnificent sunset, and he wanted me to experience the same view. He drove for me throughout my stay in Bali, and he was truly a nice guy.
To return to the main point, I believe the time I arrived was probably perfect for seeing the sunset. However, it got dark in about an hour, so I regret that I didn’t have enough time to look around the Tanah Lot Temple area.
